Conflict Resolution in the Workplace

Independent Support to Move Forward

Conflict is a natural part of working life, but when it’s not addressed early, it can quickly escalate and impact teams, culture, and wellbeing. At Ashdale, we provide practical, human-focused services to support conflict resolution in the workplace.

Whether you need help with an ongoing issue or assistance with a new complaint, we’re here to help you work through it constructively.

Our Approach

At Ashdale, our conflict resolution training is built to foster healthier workplaces by reducing friction, improving communication, and restoring productivity. We offer a suite of practical, people-focused strategies to help prevent or resolve workplace conflict before it escalates.

Conflict Coaching

Conflict coaching supports individuals and teams in developing constructive approaches to workplace tension. Our sessions are future-focused and task-oriented- designed to empower participants with the skills and mindset to manage conflict creatively and confidently.

Coaching can be delivered face-to-face or remotely, depending on your needs.

Facilitating Difficult Conversations

We offer guidance and structured practice to help you prepare for, and navigate, challenging discussions with confidence. Whether it’s a performance issue, personal conflict, or leadership challenge, we help you approach it constructively.

Post-Mediation Coaching

Resolution doesn’t always end with mediation. Some individuals may benefit from further reflection and support. Post-Mediation Coaching offers a safe space to explore lingering concerns, reinforce positive behaviour, and strengthen communication moving forward.

Mediation

Mediation is a highly effective tool in resolving interpersonal issues at work. It allows employees to express concerns in a safe, facilitated environment and work toward mutual understanding and resolution. For best results, our mediations are led by impartial, professionally trained Mediators who ensure fairness, control, and confidentiality throughout the process.

Mediation is particularly valuable when:

  • Internal resolution efforts have failed
  • Communication has broken down between parties
  • A formal investigation has concluded and unresolved issues remain

Workplace Conflict Conferencing

Workplace Conflict Conferencing is designed to bring those affected by conflict together. The facilitated format enables a community of people to come together and share how this conflict has affected them.

The conference format:

  • Recognises that all individuals in the conflict have a shared experience of it
  • Illustrates the existence of multiple truths regarding what occurred
  • Neutralises the gossip and speculation surrounding the conflict
  • Transforms individual desires for change into collective action

Conflict conferencing is ideal for restoring team cohesion, rebuilding trust, and enabling cultural repair within a workplace or team environment.
